In every relationship, at a certain moment, there is talking about issues that are not pleasant but inevitable. When it comes to money, everybody has his/her own ideas and priorities. She wants latest fashion; he wants to fix his car. She wants to go to the beauty parlor, he wants to buy a bike or have a mortgage.
In conclusion, it is a fact that talks about money are delicate so here are some tips to engage in such a discussion in a natural manner:
1. Give time to the discussion
It does not mean that you need to select a precise day for “talking about money” but you need to think about a period of time and a previous preparing. You must know what are the main issues, how to direct the talking and draw a conclusion.
2. Do not totally impose yourself
It is a fact that you have different plans of how to use money, but this does not mean that your opinions are better or your investments are more successful. Anyhow, no matter how good your ideas are, you don’t have to forget that the talk is not about your money only but the money you get together.
3. Be flexible
If she has an idea about an investment, don’t say “no” without even listening to her. Listen to her, to her ideas, have some of your own, better ones, and everything will be Ok. Do not get stubborn to prove she is wrong especially when you make it out of pride.
4. Do not get bossy
Even if you are office manager, do not get imposing. If you come home and say “this money will be enough”, it will not be Ok. Maybe you will not get a drastic reaction, but she definitely will want to spend all you’ve got. Talking about money is as serious as all other problems that appear in your relationship. No matter how great love is, it can be fragile.

Talks to Be Avoided In a Relationship

Relationships are generally based on compromise but also on free choice. Since men and women think differently, act differently and have fights in different ways, things can be nasty when thinking of a relationship and confusion appears. It is possible that you do not know issues about women, but you can try to push the right button so your problems can get solved.
Avoiding the following problems, you can spare loss of time and energy with fights.
1. Her style
Not only that she has the right to make sure you look presentable but it is also her responsibility. Just because she does it for you this does not mean you should do the same. As a matter of fact you need to avoid negative observation. Comments like “Isn’t this jacket too short, tight, not appropriate?” must be forbidden. Yes, its double compromise but who says life is fair?
When it comes to you, you did wrong when you said about her shoes that they look funny, so apologize quickly and say they are in fact great.
2. The way she looks
No woman can make spaghetti sauce as your mother, but under no circumstance compare this particular sauce with the one made by your girlfriend. Another rule would be not to make comments related to her cooking, even if you find the food tasteless, eat it and smile.
3. Your and her ex-lovers
Nothing good comes out of remembering about your/her ex. Maybe this person was the best for her, maybe he cheated on her, but talking nasty about her past will make her responding. It is her past, her mistakes, forget about it. Besides, do not compare her with your ex-girlfriend, it is like calling her name in intimate moments - You are on a mined field. In case you did a mistake, apologize.
4. Her money
Her money is not your money, so if she wants to spend a fortune on new jeans, do not interfere. She does not understand your obsession with gadgets either and even so she does not make comments when you spend 500$ on a mobile phone.
5. Her friends
If you have nothing to say about her friends, do not say it. So, even if you observed that her girlfriend is very sexy and pretty…don’t say it.
